WHAT HAPPENED?
After 30 games for City, where she scored eight goals in all competitions this season, and a host of England caps – most recently a double-header against France in their latest Euro 2025 qualifiers – Kelly travelled to Dubai for a well-earned break.

THE GOSSIP
Kelly has had a year or so of near misses. Firstly, her England side lost in the Women's World Cup final to Spain last August and then last month City were pipped to the Women's Super League title by Chelsea on the last day. The 26-year-old will hope next season brings more success.

Kelly can enjoy several weeks off now before returning for England duty against the Republic of Ireland in another Euro 2025 qualifier on July 12 at Carrow Road.
